About the Village

Bald Eagle Village is West Milford's premier townhouse community. The buildings blend into the wooded hillside upon which the Village is built. They are finished with wood siding and surrounded by thick copses of native trees, which give the community a rustic feel very unlike most townhouse communities.
A total of 59 buildings contain 440 townhouse units, with almost two dozen different models, each of which is named after a New England town.

Located less than 7 miles from Route 23, Bald Eagle Village is convenient for commuters to many destinations. Manhattan, Newark, Middletown, NY, and eastern Pennsylvania are less than an hour away by car.

West Milford offers many opportunities for outdoor recreation. The Village is encircled by a walking trail that meanders through the woods and along a mountain stream. Hiking trails are abundant throughout West Milford, including the Appalachian Trail, which runs through neighboring Wawayanda State Park. Boating is popular on nearby Greenwood Lake. Several lakes for swimming are located in the township. Local horse stables make it common to see riders on trails surrounding the Village.

Bald Eagle Village offers affordable living in a rustic setting and all the modern amenities for a comfortable lifestyle that is convenient to the greater New York metropolitan area.
