Snow Removal Reminders - January 17 2018 storm UPDATE 1/18 1:30 pm

UPDATE 1/18 1:30 pm: Push-back schedule completed. Our own inspections resulted in a short punch list which is being tended to now. The snow was light on top but very wet and packing underneath causing some residual snow pack to remain in some areas. The town pre-salted the roads which greatly reduced snow pack in the street, and owners who did the same on their driveways and/or have put ice melt down after the first clearing yesterday, have experienced better snow clearing results.

Water run off – NOT Water main breaks

It has been brought to our attention that some owners have had concern regarding water run off on Bunkerhill Road and Salem Alley. Please be advised that these areas have been checked out by the West Milford MUA's team and have been confirmed not to be related to the on-site water systems. Instead, it is a residual mountain water run off from the heavy rain. The Township of West Milford DPW has been in with a loader to scrape the ice and apply salt as needed. Thank you!

Christmas Decor Must be Down - Tree disposal

In accordance with the Rules & Regulations, all decorations must be down by January 15th.

Fresh Christmas Trees will be taken away every Tuesday and Thursday in January. Please place UNDECORATED tree to curb Monday or Wednesday night for pick up the next morning. The LAST day for tree pick up will be Tuesday, January 30th.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Saturday Jan 6th - Driveway second clearing!

Sno Pro's will be back on site Saturday and will clear driveways that are free from cars one more time. So please follow the times on the push back schedule and have all vehicles out of the driveway during your areas specified time and they will clear your driveway again. This is a good chance to get snow brushed from cars, between/front of cars and wind blown snow cleared. Please note: if cars are not moved from driveway during specified times, the driveway will not get a final clearing. Also note that you do not need to be out of the driveway the entire time allocated for your area.

About the Village

Bald Eagle Village is West Milford's premier townhouse community. The buildings blend into the wooded hillside upon which the Village is built. They are finished with wood siding and surrounded by thick copses of native trees, which give the community a rustic feel very unlike most townhouse communities.
